With T 4 -bovine IgG as a solid-phase antigen, we have developed a direct competitive-type immunoassay for serum total thyroxine (TT 4 ), which depends on the competitive distribution of europium-labeled anti-T 4 monoclonal antibody between solid-phasebound T 4 and the T 4 in the sample or standard.

โฆ Synopsis
TSH by the new assay and <0.1 mIU/L in the "TSHS" assay. This problematic group included a number of untreated Graves disease patients. This was a reproducible finding within samples and for the patient over time. Other patients who gave discordant TSH results with the new formulation included some on T4 replacement therapy and some receiving thyroid suppression therapy.
In conclusion we have demonstrated significant variance in results at low levels of TSH with the new BM TSH reagent. This appears to be due in part to a positive proportional bias but more importantly, to idiosyncratic differences related to the patients themselves. The original "TSHS" assay is not available and the new assay is in widespread use. Low TSH results from this assay must be viewed with caution. BM have identified several interfering substances, have altered the formulation of their kit, and are expected to release the improved reagent shortly.

A specific and sensitive time-resolved fluorometric sandwich immunoassay for human growth hormone (hGH) in serum and urine is described. A monoclonal anti-hGH IgG1 (5802)-coated polystyrene ball was incubated with serum or dialyzed urine and subsequently with europium ion-labeled monoclonal anti-hGH
A sensitive time-resolved fluorimetric immune-complex-transfer immunoassay for antithyroglobulin IgG in serum is described. Antithyroglobulin IgG in test serum was reacted with dinitrophenyl europium ionlabeled thyroglobulin. The complex formed of antithyroglobulin IgG and dinitrophenyl europium ion
A solid-phase immunoassay with detection based on time-resolved fluorescence (TR-FIA) has been developed for the determination of lisinopril and enalaprilat in human serum. The immunogen was prepared by coupling lisinopril to bovine serum albumin through a two-step reaction with difluorodinitrobenze
