✦ Synopsis
A possible consequence of the modified EOF in PC-CE is demonstrated by the analysis of a series of five similar synthetic peptides (Figure 1) As the bed volume of the sohd phase is increased, the migration velocity of the five peptides is reduced, and the resolution of the components is enhanced In particular, OVA9 is almost basehne resolved using a 375 nl bed volume but is only a shoulder on the peak containing OVA, OVAG, and VSV when a 60 nl bed volume is used In these experiments, low pressure infusion in conjunction with a separation voltage of 30 kV was used to ensure that all components migrated towards the W detector Ms
