This is the first of four original novels by John Theydon (a pen-name for John W Jennison), based on the British science fiction television series. In this first novel, International Rescue, Lady Penelope and Parker fight an invasion from space!
The television show was made in 1964-65, by ATV/ITC for Lew Grade (later Lord Grade), in Supermarionation, on film and in colour. It aired on the commercial channel, and led to two feature films, released in the UK in 1966 and 1968.
