The US presidential election is looming.
While the sheriff of Milwaukee, David Brown, faces hostility from local politicians, mainstream media, and leftist organizations, he gets involved in the investigation of the riot-triggering murder of a waitress.

instructing him to lead a resistance team that must prevent a secret organization from tampering with the people's vote, nationally.
