The Story of "Through the Looking-Glass" is set some six months later than the one of "AliceΒ΄s Adventures in Wonderland". Again the curious little girl enters a fantastical world, this time by climbing through a mirror. The book includes such well-known verses as βJabberwocky" or βThe Walrus and the Carpenter", and the episode involving Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Charles Lutwidge Dogson, better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll, was born on January 27, 1832 in Daresbury, Cheshire, England. He is the author of the classics "AliceΒ΄s Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) and "Through the Looking-Glass" (1872). His works are characterized by his wonderful ability in the genre of literary nonsense. He died in 1898.
