## Abstract Heparin induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) is a significant, potentially life‐threatening immune‐mediated adverse event that occurs several days after commencement of therapy with unfractionated or low‐molecular weight heparin. We present a 51‐year‐old female treated with unfractionated hep
