โฆ Synopsis
A simple theory is developed to determine threshold intensities for laser-induced drssociation on the basis of experimentally measurable parameters, the total laser power and the rclction volume. A series of experiments performed for CO2 laser-induced isotope separation in SF6 estabIishes a vaIue for the threshold intensity of 6.0 MW/cm2.

Experiments were conducted to further investigate the effect of 60-Hz cyclotron-resonance exposures on rats performing on a multiple FR-DRL schedule. The previously reported temporary loss of DRL baseline response, when measured as a function of A.C. magnetic intensity, was found to have a threshold
We present the results of studies of alkali hydride formation in vapor cells under laser irradiation. Two mechanisms are studied: formation in the cell volume in the presence of hydrogen and formation on the laser irradiated cell window. The first mechanism is investigated in a room-temperature cesi
