Overview: Shirley Kennedy was born and raised in Fresno, California. She is a graduate of the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada with a BSc in Computer Sciences and worked for many years as a computer programmer/analyst. Her avid interest in English history prompted her to write βLady Semple's Secret,β a Regency published in 1997. Shirley lives in Fort Mohave, Arizona, (across the Colorado River from Laughlin, Nevada) with her older daughter, Dianne, and three cats named (with a thanks to Shakespeare) Caesar, Brutus and Romeo.
