Abstract

What we don't know about Latino philanthropy can hurt us. We need more information on Latino traditions of giving, disincentives to Latino philanthropy, and institutional arrangements that might foster Latino philanthropy. Exploration of these three issues suggests approaches to Latino philanthropy that may both improve society and Latino opportunities in society.
