✦ Synopsis
Refined separation procedures have facilitated not only the purification of the known eudistomins G, H, I and P, but also the isolation and identification of three new B-carbolines, eudistomins R, S, and T. Excellent resolution of the closely related eudistomins was achieved by use of an amino bonded phase HPLC column: structure elucidation was accomplished by spactroanalytical methods.

A new b-carboline alkaloid, eudistomidin G (1), has been isolated from the Okinawan marine tunicate Eudistoma glaucus, and the structure was elucidated from spectroscopic data. Furthermore, the structure of eudistomidin B (2), which has been isolated from the same tunicate, was revised from 2a to 2b
## Abstract Isolation and structure elucidation of eudistomidin G (Ia) is described.
