Abstract

Three new paeonidanin‐type monoterpene glycosides, named suffrupaeonidanins A–C, were isolated as minor components from the root cortex of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. Their structures were elucidated by a combination of 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR, and mass spectral techniques.

## Abstract From the roots of three species of __Acanthophyllum__ (Caryophyllaceae), two new gypsogenic acid glycosides, 1 and 2, were isolated, 1 from __A. sordidum__ and __A. lilacinum,__ 2 from A. __elatius__ and __A. lilacinum__, together with three known saponins, glandulosides B and C, and SA
