Abstract

A new homologous series of 3‐alkyl‐5‐methoxy‐2‐methyl‐1,4‐benzoquinones (1–3), with chain lengths of C~21~ to C~23~, were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Daldinia concentrica, together with five known compounds. The molecular structures were established by spectroscopic methods.
