✦ Synopsis

Three new diterpene esters, decipinone (1), isodecipinone (2) and deeipidone (3), with a tricyclic carbon skeleton have been isolated from Euphorbia decipiens Boiss. & Buhse (Euphorbiaceae) and their structures have been elucidated by different spectroscopic methods including HREIMS, EIMS, IR, UV, ID and 2D NMR techniques. The relative stereochemistry of I was established by X-ray crystallography.
