β¦ Synopsis
As continuous motion must be invoke when interpreting short-range image motion of straight lines, our goal is to study the relation between the continuous motion of a rigid body of straight lines in space and the continuous motion of its projection on a plane. We formalize the notion of rigid motion of straight lines in space. We introduce observer measurable .Z-normal flows associated with a rigid body of straight lines, .~, for the recovery of the body three-dimensional structure and motion. Both a nonlinear formulation and a linear formulation are given. Finally, we study the cases where the rigid body of straight lines is observed by a binocular viewing system and by stereoscopy.

The precise quantification of regional myocardial strain is complicated by its time-varying pattern and reglonal varfation resulting from the anisotropy of the myocardium and by complex
Our objective was to investigate the influence of various image artifacts on threedimensional chamfer matching. A number of artificial and natural artifacts (for instance, as a model for CT-MR matching) were introduced or suppressed in pairs of pelvic CT scans, and a perturbation study was used to d
