✦ Synopsis

Her primary research interests are in social marketing and persuasion theories, particularly as they relate to health and road safety marketing. She has recently completed doctoral studies investigating the use of death threat appeals and is currently engaged on a major research project with Professor Donovan examining the relative effectiveness of threats appeals vs incentive appeals for nutrition and physical activity promotion. She is also interested in the unique marketing challenges faced by the death care industry (funerals, memorials, etc) including the ethics of aggressive marketing practices in this context.
