✦ Synopsis
Book Reviews tissue transplantation. Immediate tissue transplants to the hand in the form of flaps, bone grafts, osteocutaneous grafts, or toes are not included.
The paper, binding, printing and organization of illustrations are of top quality. Because of this the cost is high. It is a book that belongs in reference libraries where plastic surgery, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery residents, as well as the occasional hand surgeon faced with an unusual deformity, can turn to it for reference. Those readers of the Journal of Microsurgery with a consuming interest in reconstruction of congenital deformities of the hand may wish to have this volume in their library, in spite of the fact that no microsurgical procedures are contained therein.
