To solve her cousin’s disappearance, she’ll have to confront a very dark past-if she can ever regain her memory.

In the summer of 1987, 7-year-old Jeanie Maynard and her cousin were attacked while out for an evening bike ride. Ricky disappeared that night and the residents of the small, mountain town have been searching for answers ever since.

As the only witness to the crime, all eyes fell upon Jeanie. If only she could remember what happened. If only she could remember Ricky… Her entire childhood memory was wiped out that awful night.

Now, at 37, Jeanie’s plagued by guilt and by something else. The shadows on her walls, the footsteps outside her bedroom door at night, her sense that someone is following her, the strange figure that frequents her dreams-is something haunting her or is Jeanie starting to recover her memory?

One thing is for sure-she’s the only one who can solve the mystery of Ricky’s abduction.
