This approach to a thin-®lm Si solar cell combines theoretical analysis, growth of thin-®lm crystalline Si (c-Si) and deposition of amorphous Si (a-Si:H) to form the heterojunction. The PC-1D model predicts a potential eciency of 416% for an Si thickness of 10 "m. Liquid phase growth (LPG) of the ba
