✦ Synopsis
Carbon black (20-30 wt.%) filled polypropylene is a nonexpensive, flexible electrode material, which is highly suitable for cell designs with bipolar electrodes or for single electrodes with a metal backing. The electrode surfaces must not be roughened. They have a pronounced electrochemical inertness in aqueous and organic electrolytes.
