✦ Synopsis

A series of epoxy resins were formulated for use as potting materials in superconducting magnets. Tile new resins have low viscosity (51 poise), sufficiently long pot life (26 h) and excellent thermal shock resistance (225 cycles). Their physical and mechanical properties are compared with those of other, similar, resins.
