Thermoluminescence (TL) of Pr-doped KCI is studied. The influence of pre-heat treatment and optical bleaching of the glow curves and the production of Z, centers are discussed. The glow curves of KC1 containing 1062 ppm of praseodymium (Pr) shows one shoulder at 365 K (TI) and two peaks around 408 K
The optical properties of the TlInS 2x Se 2(1-x) mixed crystals (0.25 ≤ x ≤ 1) have been investigated through the transmission and reflection measurements in the wavelength range of 400-1100 nm. The optical indirect band gap energies were determined by means of the analysis of the absorption data. I
Mixed crystals of K 1-x (NH 4 ) x H 2 PO 4 (KADP) were grown from KDP (KH 2 PO 4 ) dominated mixed solutions with varying molar proportion of ADP (NH 4 H 2 PO 4 ) addition. It was found that, as the increase of ADP molar concentration, the growth rate along z-axis of KADP crystal decreased rapidly.
