β¦ Synopsis
The experimental results of thermoelectric power (S) in normal state of highly c-axis-oriented T12Ba2Ca2Cu30x thin films prepared by DC magnetron sputtering are presented in this paper.
It reflects the behavior of thermoelectric power in the ab-plane of the sample. The value of Sis' about 9 ~V/K at 150 K and then decreases linearly with increasing temperature.
The proposed explanation is that there probably exist two kinds of carriers: the relatively localized one, giving a constant part of thermopower, and the mobile one, contributing the diffusion part of thermopower which is proportional to the temperature with negative slope.
