โฆ Synopsis
Excess molar volumes of an aqueous solution of 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethanol {CH3(CH2)3O(CH2CH2O)2H C4H9O(CH2CH2O)2H have been investigated as a function of composition and temperature. The measurements have been made at the temperatures (278.149, 288.146, 298.144 and 308.141) K. The value of V E m is negative over the whole composition range and increases with temperature. In the mole fraction region about x=0.02, similar behaviour is observed to that of 2-butoxyethanol C4H9O(CH2)2OH.
