✦ Synopsis

In this Paper, the thermodynamic properties of nitrogen such as enthalpy and entropy calculated from the BWR equation of state 1 using eight coefficients, which were optimized previously 2 are presented. The thermodynamic properties calculated are found to be satisfactory in the region from atmospheric up to critical pressure, including the saturated and superheated zones, and in the region above the critical pressure. It is therefore concluded that thermodynamic properties in both the subcritical and supercritical regions can be accurately predicted by the BWR equation of state with the previously determined eight coefficients.
