✦ Synopsis

Temperature and magnetic field dependences of the thermal conductivity of a GdBa2Cu307-0 high-To superconductor have been measured between 1.5}( and 7.OK.

It has been found that the thermal conductivity increases around 2.2K, at which the magnetic orderin~ peak is observed in the specific heat measurements. The thermal conductivity is proportional to T ~ above 2.5K and to T 3 below 2.2K. The magnetic field dependence of the thermal conductivity at T=4.41K exhibits a similar behaviour to that of the usual type II superconductor, although the variation is less.

In order to investigate magnetic interaction and its effect on superconductivity in GdBa2(Cu I xFex )307\_v, critical temperature Tc, lattice parameters, d.c. susceptivility, Gd-ESR and Nee] temperature T N are measured. We found that ESR linewidthAHop increases but T N decreases from 2.3 K to 2.0 K
