✦ Synopsis
We present thermal conductivity and specific heat measurements on MgB 2 and Mg-AlB 2 samples. Thermal properties have been analyzed by using a two-gap model in order to estimate the gap amplitudes, Dð0Þ p and Dð0Þ r and the intra-band scattering rates, C rr and C pp . Dð0Þ r rapidly decreases as a function of Al doping and disorder, while Dð0Þ p is rather constant. C rr and C pp are increased by disorder, being C pp more affected than C rr .
