We have measured the thermal expansion of a polycrystalline sample of Er0.4Ho06Rh4B4 in the temperature range 0.6-35 K and in the vicinity of 77 K. Our measurements show distinct features which appear to be associated with the ferromagnetically induced reentrant superconductivity exhibited by this c

✦ Synopsis
We present a simultaneous measurement of the superconduction tunnelling density of states and of the thermal expansion of ErNi 2 B 2 C across the antiferromagnetic transition at T N . The thermal expansion shows a sharp, well defined, lambda type anomaly at T N , whereas the tunnelling density of states appears to be unaffected by the onset of antiferromagnetic order.
