✦ Synopsis

The statistical mechanical theory of Bearman for the thermal conductivity of binary liquid mistures has been moditied to yield simple relntions which depend onfy an the thermal conductivity of pure components and their molar volumes.

The theory yields excellent results for zII mixtures, excepting those which contain relarively much heavier molecules.
