โœฆ Synopsis

Dr. Hamburger was asked whether he would recommend the use of cytoxin or lymphacytapheresis first in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. He stated that he would recommend lymphacytapheresis first, especially in relatively young patients because of the multiple side effects and the risk of long-term problems with the drug. with albumin replacement. He stated that thrombotic problems are more likely to be seen than bleeding problems in these cases.

Dr. Hamburger was also asked whether coagulation problems arise in SLE treated by PE 0 1985 Alan R. Liss. Inc.
