โฆ Synopsis
Theoretical values for the relative intensities of the Fe xIIt lines 210747, 210798, and 23388 are presented as functions of electron density using recent values of the cross-section for collisionl excitation by protons. Our results are compared with those of Chevalier and Lambert.

New electron excitation rates for Ovxl calculated by Tayal and Kingston using the R-matrix method are used to determine theoretical emission line strengths. The chemical e โ ect on x-ray intensity ratios for Mo and Tc compounds was calculated with the discrete-Kb 2 /Ka variational Xa molecular orbital method. The calculated results are in qualitative agreement with the experimental values following radioactive decay of Tc isotopes.
