In this paper, a theoretical confirmation of the recently ( ) proposed generalized material-independent PML GMIPML absorbers, which was de¨oted to absorbing wa¨es propagating in arbitrary anisotropic dielectric and magnetic media, is carried out. The purpose of such a confirmation is not only to make the GMIPML more acceptable, but also to complete the GMIPML theory.
