## Abstract A new moment method is presented to analyze sleeve monopole antennas at the center of a circular ground plane. The input impedance and radiation pattern of the antenna are calculated. Good agreement between the computed and measured results is obtained. ยฉ 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Mi
## Abstract A new design about planar triangular monopole antenna using a modified ground plane for bandwidth enhancement is proposed. By symmetrically etching a pair of modified Lโshaped slots in the ground plane, the impendence bandwidth is increased to 2.5โ10.8 GHz under the condition of VSWR<2.
## Abstract In this paper, the effects of the monopole antenna with windowed ground plane have been studied, including the impedance condition and the radiation patterns. A circularly microstrip monopole antenna is used as a radiated element. By utilizing a circular or rectangular slot of the exten
