✦ Synopsis
Exchange cd measurements have been made using the double-impulse method of Gerischer and Krause. Values obtained are greater than those previously reported (part I) using the single impulse method. The exchange cd is independent of the zincate ion concentration and rises to a maximum value at c1z 8 mol/l KOH concentration, confirming the pattern of the galvanostatic experiments, The enthalpy of activation for the charge-transfer process is ca I3 kJ/mol.
Possible mechanisms for these observations are discussed.
R&an&-Measures de la densite de courant d'echange au moyen de la methode de double impulsion de Gerischer et Krause. Les valeurs obtenues sont superieures a celles report& anterieurement (part I), d&mites de la methode impulsionnelle simple. La densite de courant d'&change est independante de la concentration en ion zincate et augmente jusqu'a une valeur maximum a la concentration en KOH de 8 mol/l environ, ce qui contirme le schema des experiences galvanostatiques. L'energie d'activation pour le processus de transfert de charge est d'environ 13 kJ/mol.
Le mecanismes possibles relatifs Q ces observations sont discutes.
