The carbon K emission spectrum of gaseous ethene (C2H4) has been recorded in high resolution utilizing a "~a.zin_e incidence technique. The spectrum is interpreted by means of sb initio onecenter intensities and electron sprcuoscopic data. High-energy satcllites are interpreted using resonance energ% from electron energy loss and optical studies.
