After a century in frozen sleep science has finally come up with a cure for Jefferson Nighthawk's disease. Physically in his 60s he recovers his strength slowly but is finally ready to leave the hospital and enjoy his old age settling down and tending to his flowers. But the Galaxy isn't through with the Widowmaker yet. He is constantly being hunted down by enemies his two clones made men he himself has never seen before and doesn't recognize as mortal enemies. Nighthawk barely survives the first few encounters. Something must be done - and with the cunning that made him the Widowmaker he comes up with the strangest plan of all...
