β¦ Synopsis
A new definition of electrolyte-solution acidity in the terms of Yeal" hydrogen-ion activity cn+r is proposed. The applicability of the Volta method for pun+? determinations and for the establishment of a universal acidity scale in HCl-H,O and HCOOH-Hz0 mixtures is shown.
