Viscosity measurements in a wide shear rate range, on suspensions of six Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids, are reported. The shear rate dependency of suspensions in non-Newtonian liquids is compared with that of suspensions in Newtonian ones and an extension to the former of the Krieger-Doughert
