Abatrad-The variance-sample size relationship of ordered powder mixture has been investigated. II was confirmed that the mixing variances, especially in microdose mixing, may be masked by the large experimental errors. The effects of magnesium stearate and/or shaking on the homogeneity of coarse/fine and fine/fine ordered powder mixtures were also investigated.
