## Abstract The presence and distribution of lectinβbinding epitopes at the surface of __Escherichia coli__ Kβ12, strain W1655, was studied by electron microscopy after lectinβgold labeling and negative staining. A comparison was made between the lectinβbinding capacity of cells cultivated at 20 Β°C
