โœฆ Synopsis

through an open cloth filter, i i n d is used up in the rnaniif:rcture of copper sulphatc crystals by the Ottokarliofniann process. At this stngc, the recovered copper liquors not infrequently contain 11s much iis 20% of acid, :md about 2% copper. 'J'liis ncid is cmincntly suited for dissolving roasted innttc for the latter process.

Tlic silver precipitate is removed to a cloth filter, and the iniiss whilst still dainp transferred to :I briquetting mnchinc operiitcd by hand. I n this innchine, the silver precipitate is made into bricks. These bricks are placed in n sinall oven to dry, and on assaying show a t lenst 99% of silver.

By iueans of the precautions taken in the foregoing process, no gold, even in traces, is present. Wlint gold did not remain in the dissolving pot, was completely arrestd in the lend-lined vat, ant1 licncc the precipitate consists of prncticnlly pure silver.

## Abstract ## Background Laser tissue welding (LTW) is a novel method of surgical wound closure by the use of laser radiation to induce fusion of the biological tissues. Molecular dynamics associated with LTW is a result of thermal and nonโ€thermal mechanisms. ## Objectives This research focuses
