Abshnct-The specimen strength ratio (R,) determined from small specimen tests was correlated with plane strain fracture toughness (RI,) values for many beats of AS33B-1 steel. A variety of toading rate and specimen size results suggest that K,, can be predicted from the small specimen strength ratio
