What do a womanizer, terrorist, disgraced naval officer and convicted sex offender have in common? They are not typically thought of as the good guys. The Unlikely Defenders follows a large cast of characters as they struggle against both an alien invasion and their personal demons. Through their stories a greater tale is told about an attack on Earth by a species known as the Kessiams. The humans are surprised when they are not brushed aside by the invaders. Though the Kessiams have greater technology they lack humanity's talent for organized violence. Human beings across the planet unite to fight the common enemy. Their delight at the initial success in combating the aliens is short lived. A far greater threat to Earth looms on the horizon.
Scott Haworth earned a bachelor's degree in history and political science from Ohio State in 2004. His other works include "American Liberation Front" and "College Collage". He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio.
