research now being done around the globe on autism, and one volume is just not large enough to hold all of the important findings and ideas currently being published. Therefore, more special issues and collections of research about ASDs are warranted. Another possible limitation is the price. At £29.95 (about $55.00 US) it is somewhat high for a paperback. But since it's likely to be purchased mainly by professionals and institutions, and given the quality of the papers involved, I think this represents good value for the money.
