Within the city, revenue from sex, music, and fashion fuels the development of Reno�s �pristine� technology, allowing Reno to continuously expand its dynamic carbon-negative infrastructure. Now a Mecca for futurists, Reno has established itself as the place to be if you want to shape the future�or rule it. With vast financial resources and a first-look at all the new, cutting-edge technology, a group of self-appointed �gods� are slowly gaining power, both locally and internationally. Outside their inner circle, the gods promote lux hedonism for their own gain, but those who work closely with the gods know what the future holds. Few have escaped the inner circles of the gods and lived to tell of it. Fewer still do any more than run to safer ground after successfully fleeing. Yet six specialists, once agents of the gods, have remained in Reno to fight back. They call themselves The Undergods, or di inferi. And while they don�t know what the future holds, they will do everything in their power to make sure the gods won�t be ruling it.
