Many experiments on the dielectric behaviour of gaseous hefium have been carried out in the temperature range of 4"2 to 50 K. These experiments have been carried out in uniform fields as well as in nonuniform fields. In uniform fields, special attention has been paid to the breakdown values near the

โฆ Synopsis
The heat conductivity and viscosity of gaseous helium at temperatures below 4ยฐK have been calculated, using a potential field introduced in previous papers for the purpose of calculating the equation of state of gaseous helium. The result of the calculations is in reasonable agreement with the experimental data of the heat conductivity of helium as measured by de Haas and Ubbink.
