Abstract

The transient behaviour caused by the change of the component concentration for CO oxidation on the perovskite‐type catalyst La~0.4~Sr~0.6~Co~0.4~Mn~0.6~O~3~ was investigated. Results showed that CO was not adsorbed on the catalyst surface and CO oxidation was carried out between the surface oxygen species and gas phase CO. On the other hand, CO~2~ can be adsorbed on the catalyst surface but its adsorption site was different from the forming site.

Electrical transport and magnetic behavior of the perovskite system Ln 0X8 Sr 0X2 (Co 1Γ€x Fe x )O 3 , where Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Eu; x 0.12 is reported. It is shown that both substitutions of lanthanium by rare-earth ions and cobalt by iron lead to the destruction of ferromagnetic ordering and an increa
