Ahstract-N-Methylacryloyloxytetrabromophthalimide (NMTP) monomer was prepared and studied by elemental analysis and IR, 'H NMR and UV-vis spectroscopy. The effect of solvent on UV-vis spectra is considered. Complexes of (NMTP) with Cu(II), Co(H), Ni(II), Zn(I1) and Fe(II1) chlorides have been studie
