β¦ Synopsis
A~tract--In an attempt to obtain new stable conducting polymers, four conjugated poly(Schiff base sulphide) (PSBS) polymers have been synthesized. The properties and structures of the polymers and the monomers have been studied. The polymers were found to be easily doped with iodine to form relatively stable conducting complexes with conductivity of 10 -3 S/cm. The properties and application in a lithium battery of 12-doped PSBS were investigated.
