## Abstract The effect of chloride along with sulfite ions on the atmospheric corrosion of bronze was investigated by using periodic wet‐dry tests, surface tension tests and electrochemical impedance measurements. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X‐ray diffraction (XRD) were used to character
