Primary cultures derived from adult mouse dorsal root ganglia have been maintained in the presence or absence of 5 X 10(-6)M cytosine arabinoside for periods of up to 4 weeks. In cultures in which cytosine arabinoside is present, the non-neuronal cell population is effectively reduced. When uncoated
